Dan Wood
Dan is our head electrician and managing director. He’s passionate about doing good work and is across all client projects from start to finish. Dan’s built a name for himself for his ability to find creative solutions in lighting design, combining functionality and future-proof practicality with attractive design. Plus he’s so tall he doesn’t often need a ladder – bonus!
After completing his apprenticeship in Warkworth, Dan spent two years exploring the world with Bailee. They returned home in 2014 and established Dan Wood Electrical, started their family, got married and built their first home. Needless to say, Dan doesn’t have much spare time these days but when he does he’s happiest fishing, hiking, mountain biking, or spending time in the outdoors with his family.

Bailee Wood
As the saying goes, behind every great man is an even greater woman. Bailee is the woman behind the scenes, making sure everything runs smoothly and clients have a great experience when they deal with Dan Wood Electrical. Her key responsibilities include administration, business development and customer service. Bailee studied at Waikato University, completing a double degree in Geography and Sport & Rec, and a post-grad dip in ECE teaching.
After a few years of teaching and travelling, she moved to Warkworth. These days Bailee tries to find balance working from home with two young children, while trying to fit in the activities she enjoys most: sports and exploring the outdoors with the kids. She also looks forward to the day when she can sit in the sun with a good book.

Brendon Frost
Our apprentice Brendon is an experienced and qualified auto electrician who is now working towards his electrical qualification with Dan Wood Electrical. After working as a mechanic and jet boat driver in Queenstown, Brendon and girlfriend Vanessa moved north to make Warkworth their home, bringing their much-loved Kelpie Joey with them.
Brendon brings his strong customer relations mind-set and work ethic to our team. When he’s not at work you’ll find him… still working, on his apprenticeship! But he’d much rather be adventuring outdoors where he enjoys mountain biking, 4WDing, hunting and fishing. While Brendon has an Australian accent, he’s a bona fide Kiwi. Born in Christchurch, he grew up in Brisbane, then spent a brief period working in Canada before coming back to NZ in 2015.
